Types of Tests

As your pregnancy progresses, your doctor may conduct an ultrasound examination to determine that your baby is growing properly and that there are no visible abnormalities.

This exam is sometimes repeated two or three times during the pregnancy. Other possible tests are:

stress tests
amniocentesis
glucose tolerance
